About these terms
These terms apply to every order placed on this website. By placing an order you agree to them. If you have a question, contact us at [email protected].
Our paintings
Every painting is painted by hand to order. Because each one is made individually, small differences in colour, brushwork and detail compared with the original or the photos on this site are normal and part of the character of a hand-made work.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and include free shipping. Prices in other currencies are approximate conversions for guidance; you are charged in US dollars. Payment is taken securely by our payment providers when you place your order. We never see or store your full card details.
Production and delivery
Most paintings are finished within 2–3 weeks; large or complex works can take longer. Your painting ships the same day it is finished and we email you the tracking details. Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by customs and carriers.
Duties and taxes
Import duties and local taxes, where they apply, are the responsibility of the buyer unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Guarantee and returns
Your purchase is covered by our 90-day happiness guarantee, described in our Returns & Refunds policy. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Custom orders
Custom portraits and custom sizes are made specifically for you. We confirm the details and a sketch with you before painting starts.
Liability
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our failure to meet these terms. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place your order applies to that order.
