The story of the Harvard Art Museums

The Harvard Art Museums in Cambridge, Massachusetts, bring together the Fogg Museum, the Busch-Reisinger Museum and the Arthur M. Sackler Museum. They reopened in 2014 in a building by Renzo Piano with a glass roof over the historic courtyard.

They are especially rich in Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painting, German Expressionism and drawings.

The building

Renzo Piano's renovation, completed in 2014, kept the Fogg's 1927 Georgian Revival building and its Italian Renaissance-style courtyard and added a glass roof that lights the galleries and conservation studios.
